It has been the most amazing weather in Brisbane lately which is perfect for a dress like this. I have previously made this Sia Dress in blue linen. The Rayon was also a really nice comfortable fit, being light and airy.
Description: The dress features a low V neckline, front bust pleats, back bodice darts and a shaped waist band with optional self fabric ties.
Pattern: Sia Dress – Marsha Style
Fabric: Rayon material from Spotlight
This dress is fully lined with white cotton and I think after wearing this once I might even stitch up that front slit a tiny bit further. It is quite a revealing, so you can add a clasp or simply stitch it together at the front.
As mentioned on my previous post, I made this dress as part of a testing group. The pattern was really well designed and the instructions are very thorough, so it’s perfect for all types of sewing skills. There is also a number of beautiful versions of this dress on Instagram if you want to get some inspiration.
This almost finishes off my summer dresses for the season since it’s starting to cool off a bit. I think my next few projects might involve some jackets and skirts! Can’t wait to test out some new patterns!
